Der aus Toronto stammende Songschreiber David Celia findet seit 1989 mit seinem Roots-Rock als einer ursprünglichen Spielart des Rock weltweit viel Anklang und spielt daher auch bei großen Festivals. Es ist also eine Rückbesinnung der Rockmusik auf ihre Wurzeln: Country, Blues und Folk. Er trägt sie in seiner speziellen Mischung vor. Auch Pop Music in all ihren Dimensionen ist für David Celia ein Grundpfeiler der Musik. Mit seinem Gesang zu Gitarren und Schlagzeug, teilweise auch Keyboard, gibt er seinen Mitspielern die musikalische Linie vor.

Der begehrte Musiker Celia kann selbst allerdings nicht verwurzeln, denn er ist ständig auf Tournee. Durch Europa tourt er seit 1989, spielt mit bis zu 4 weiteren Musikern und bringt sein breites musikalisches Spektrum zuweilen auch in andere Gruppen mit ein. David Celia hat bereits mehrere CD unter eigenem Namen eingespielt. Sie sind abwechslungsreich und unterhaltsam zugleich. Jetzt kann er mit dieser Quadro-Surround Musikproduktion sein Können erstmals in einer weiteren Dimension entfalten - nämlich in quadrophonem Surround-Sound.

Toronto songwriter David Celia has presented roots-rock successfully since 1989. This original variety of rock is welcomed all over the world and is presented by him on famous important festivals. His music takes you back to the roots of rock music which are country, blues and folk. He presents these styles in his own inimical mix. All dimensions of pop music are cornerstones of David Celia‘s understanding of music. With his singing accompanied by guitars and drums, sometimes by keyboard, he leads his musicians in the direction as well as the mood of their accompaniment.

He highly respected Celia is too busy travelling the world playing his music to be able to settle down - or root - in one place. Since 1989 he plays all over Europe accompanied by up to 4 musicians. His own spectrum of musical qualifications and style will often be asked for by other musicians and influences their play. David Celia produced some CD under his own name.
